38th  'Triangle' Regiment
COMMANDER - 38TH REGIMENT
COLONEL   M.D. (Dave) Tuttle
COL Tuttle has served in the positions of;  Division
Communication- Electronics OfficerRegimental Signal Officer
with the NCSDM. COL Tuttle received his Commission in 1988
from Governor Jim Martin.   COL Tuttle has a background in
newspaper journalism as a reporter and columnist, and over
25 years in Radio and Television broadcasting.  COL Tuttle
holds an Extra Class Amateur Radio Operator License, NC4DT
and is an Emergency Communications Instructor.
Archer Lodge VFD 50th

NCER's 38th RGT participated in the Archer Lodge
(NC) Volunteer Fire Department's 50th year
Anniversary celebration.  The event was a day of
fun and events focused on home fire escape and
safety plans.

NCER was on-site to provide U.S. Homeland
Security information on all phases of individual
and family disaster preparedness.  Special
literature for the elderly, disabled, and those with
pets was also provided.  Children received Fire
safety coloring books and Ready Kids Activity
Books.

NCER personnel assisted those interested in
assembling their family 72-Hour "Go-Kit", with
FEMA brochures and lists of emergency supplies.
The 38th RGT NCER
was pleased again to
assist the Town of
Selma with the annual
Railroad Days
celebration.  NCER
troops directed motor
vehicle traffic during
the foot race, and
provided safety crowd
control for the parade.
 These activities are a
result of our MOU with
Johnston County
REACT Team #2804.

Absolutely ANY individual or family can receive a
referral from any NCER member in order to
receive FREE clothing assistance. The 38th RGT of
NCER has a Memorandum of Understanding with
Our Lord's Closet in Goldsboro, NC.  Those in
need or victims of disaster will be provided
complete wardrobe from newborn infant through
size 4X adult.  
Shoes, hats, belts, handbags, and other
accessories are included.  Durable Medical Goods
(crutches, canes, walkers, wheelchairs etc.) are
also available at no cost.  Ask any NCER member
or email us through this site."

MAJ David Lamont
COMMANDER - 381st BATTION, 38th RGT  (Goldsboro Area)

MAJ Lamont has served in every military branch except the Air
Force, with multiple tours in the Army and Navy.  He also serves as a
Civil Air Patrol Officer.

car for emergency
services and  
communications.
