Brigadier General Gesulga remains the Commanding General of the North Carolina
State Defense Militia (NCSDM). All NCSDM activities were 'temporarily' suspended
on 05 April 1996 pending resolution of questions regarding coverage of workmens
compensation and other protection.
VOLUNTEER ASSIGNMENT
Brigadier General Gesulga accepted appointment as Commanding General of the
North Carolina Emergency Reserves by the Board of Directors in April 2004.
