COLONEL J. S. Evans
COL Evans has served in the positions of; Division Training Officer, Group
Operations Officer, Regimental OPSCOM, Regimental Operations Officer,
Battalion, Company and Detachment Commander. COL Evans received his
Commission in 1990 from Governor James Martin. COL Evans is the lead
instructor for the NCER Instructors Course and has over 20 years as a
Criminal Justice Insturctor. COL Evans has instructed at several Community
Colleges and at the N.C. Justice Academy in Salemburg, NC. COL Evans also
served on the Governor's Anti-Drug Task Force. COL Evans holds numerous
emergency management certifications and is an American Red Cross
Professional Rescuer Instructor, Oxygen Administration Instructor, Health &
Safety Instructor, Wilderness First Aid Basics Instructor, Wilderness and
Remote First Aid Instructor and a CERT Instructor.

Operations Officer and Battalion Commander with the NCSDM. COL
Pearce received his Commission in 1989 from Governor James Martin. He
has also been involved with community service and disaster relief for
over 20 years. COL Pearce holds numerous Emergency Management
certifications and is a certified Community Emergency Response Team
(C.E.R.T.) Instructor.
