SEARCH & RESCUE
This give the Incident Commander additional personnel to utilize for the
Search Mission, covering additional ground or setting a perimeter.  

N.C.E.R. Members are certified in First Aid and CPR, so when an individual is
found and in need of immediate assistance, the N.C.E.R. Member can render
medical assistance consistent with their level of training.

Navigation, the Member can also call in their coordinates to the Incident
Command Post so all assets can converge on the location of the victim,
creating faster response for advanced medical personnel to arrive on the
scene.

Several members of the N.C.E.R. have been certified as SARTECHs by the
National Association of Search and Rescue (NASAR) and several members
have training in High Level/High Angle Search & Rescue.  The N.C.E.R. also
has members that have been trained in Mantracking and Helicopter
Operations.
