| SPECIALIZED UNITS |
| assigned missions according to their speciality. These units may be assigned to the Battalion, Regiment, Brigade or Division. SEARCH & RESCUE Search and Rescue is a function of all NCER members. This also entails different modes of transportation for searches. These will include 4-Wheelers, Horses, Boats, Aircraft and SCUBA. MEDICAL Medical Units will consist of personnel who have received additional medical training above the standard first aid and CPR. These members will be trained as certified First Responders and EMTs. Some units may even include Nurses and Doctors. *NOTE* The NCER is in the process of partnering with the Medical Reserves Corp for utilization with the Eastern Regional Advisory Council and the State Medical Assistance Teams! COMMUNICATIONS Communications Units will consist of personnel who have qualified for an Ameatur Radio License. These units may have members spread from the Mountains to the Coast, providing vital communications between N.C.E.R. units, Governmental Agencies and other Disaster Services Organizations. *NOTE* The NCER is in the process of partnering with REACT International and the American Radio Relay League! OTHER SPECIALIZED UNITS Other Specialized Units may be raised throughout the State and may include units for Shelter Management, Mass Food Service, Aviation and Engineering. |
